A 9-year old has made it to the top of the just-released Forbes list for the highest-paid YouTube stars of 2020. The kid beat famous YouTubers PewDiePie on his way to the top of the chart. The youngster topped the chart, earning almost around $30 million.

Names such as Mr. Beast, PewDiePie, David Dobrik, and Dude Perfect come to mind when YouTube’s top earners are mentioned. These are all well-known personalities that pull millions of views per upload. Their content is in high demand year on year.

Although these creators are near the top of the chart, none of them could defeat the 9-year-old who made it to the top of Forbes’ list of 2020. It may have been assumed by a lot of people that Mr. Beast would secure the top spot after a year of countless viral videos and insane channel growth. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
Mr. Beast has reached over 3 billion views in 2020, with an estimated $29.5 million in earnings. However, these numbers were only enough to secure him an impressive second place.

The top spot has been taken by Ryan Kaji, who is popularly known for his YouTube toy channel, Ryan’s World. The 9-year-old YouTube star blew the competition out of the water, hitting over 12 billion views and earning an estimated $29.5 million.
Ryan has occupied the top spot for the second consecutive time, holding the record since last year’s publication. The success Mr. Beast has had this year illumines the number of views Ryan has accumulated.
