Avan Tudor Jogia is a Canadian activist, actor, and singer. He is commonly known for his television roles in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious where he played Beck. He also played the role of Danny Desai in the ABC Family drama Twisted, and many more.
The star first became popular based on his portrayal of Danny Araujo in the 2006 film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. In 2017 Jogia co-founded the online LGBT organization known as Straight But Not Narrow. The organization seeks to mold the views of Adults and youngsters alike on matters related to the LGBT community.

The star attended Killarney Secondary School but left at the age of 17 to pursue a full-time career in acting.He did not complete the conventional middle school as he was homeschooled. He entered an agreement with his parents that allowed him to move to Los Angeles on a six-month trial basis with the condition that he’d land a role within that period or return to school.
The star was able to do well for himself and has since then focused on acting. He cited actor Tim Curry as one of the people he looked up to in his early career days.
