Although the numbers may not be where they need to be, there has been a great improvement so far. Stacey is widely credited for boosting voter turnout in the recently held presidential election where Joe Biden won. In 2018, she was nominated for Georgia’s gubernatorial election making her the first African American major-party gubernatorial nominee in the country.

Meena is an American lawyer, an author, a producer, and founder of Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign which uses fashion as a means to support charity.
Her campaign also brings awareness to educational excellence, healthcare inequality, criminal justice reforms among others. Her aunt is the vice president of the United States of America. She previously served as head of strategy and leadership at Uber. She also served as a senior communications and policy advisor.
3. Nancy Patricia Pelosi

She is an American politician serving as the Speaker Of The United States House of representatives. Pelosi has been the Speaker of the House since 2019 and previously served as the Speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011. She previously served as the representative of California since 1987. She is the only woman in the history of the US to hold the position. Before the election of Kamala Harris was the highest-ranking woman in the country.
2. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Alex, also known as AOC is an American politician serving as the US representative for New york’s 14th congregational district and has been there since 2019. Taking office at the age of 29, she is the youngest ever woman to hold office in the United States Congress. Her victory at the primaries is what gave her nationwide recognition.
