Meet: Sahil Voona, a 15-year-old entrepreneur who is the CEO and Founder behind a consulting business. Voona started Rayze Consulting, where he helps various clients with Gen Z marketing. He told us, “I have helped around 15 companies so far, and more to come.”
We wanted to learn more about Sahil and his story. Here’s what he had to say:
Cox: How did the idea for your business come about?
Voona: I first started a consulting firm with my partner to help small businesses and startups affected by COVID-19. However, we then realized that we can expand our business. I did this by splitting the existing consulting firm into a tech firm, which helps with the tech aspects of a company, and a marekting firm, where I help bigger companies with Gen Z marketing, which is what I am specialized in.
Cox: Why is your business unique?
Voona: My business is unique since the main way to attract the Gen Z market is getting the perspective of someone who is in the Gen Z field. Combining my experience with consulting, I was able to conclude that my motive should be helping companies with the Gen Z market. Gen Z controls a huge amount of money, and companies need a certain skillset to have a share in the Gen Z market.
Cox: What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
Voona: My key driving force is to help businesses and to help my community. As having experience as a consultant, I have worked with various companies and businesses, and enjoy working with people. I continue to gain more experience every day, which led me to the position I am in as of now.

Cox: How did you build a successful customer base?
Voona: The biggest way is through socials. Linkedin is extremely powerful, and having a website is key. It was hard at first cold-calling and emailing people and not receiving any response. However, once you get the ball rolling, you will be amazed by the amount of people that contact you.
Cox: What has been your favorite moment in business?
Voona: My favorite moment must be when I helped my first client. I gained a lot of experience while helping the first person, and I have had my ups and downs. After helping my first business, I learned how to gain more businesses and how to better consult with businesses.
