Meet This Social Media Influencer Who Became Famous By Mistake – Teen Blurb

Meet: River Doyle, a viral social media influencer and the Chief Operating Officer of Beersy. Doyle shoots concerts and events and has done so for well-known people,m “I’ve taken photos from Logic, Super Duper Kyle, NF and YBN Cordae” he told us. He currently works at Beersy which was the first company ever to produce a silicone koozie. Doyle also scored a spot on the marketing team for Cerberus Interactive, where he handles their social media rollout for their newest game Atlas Empires. River has amassed over 2.2 million views and 54,000 followers on Tik Tok.

We wanted to dive deeper into River and his story, here’s what he had to say:

Cox: Why did you want to become an influencer?

Doyle: I didn’t really plan to become an influencer, it really just fell into my lap. My boss at Beersy is a social influencer that goes by the name of Mr.Technical Difficult. While working with him I downloaded Tik Tok and just started making videos with him and friends and it really started to blow up. It’s cool now to think of myself as an influencer but this really wasn’t the plan more of just a coincidence.

Cox: Why is your content unique?

Doyle: My content is usually either about our game or products that we sell. What makes them interesting and unique is that nobody else makes the things we make. With Beersy we make unique products that make your canned beverages look like cans of Bleach or Baked Beans so it makes for some pretty funny and unique videos. Then with Atlas Empires it is a game that is like Pokemon Go and Clash of Clans had a baby which makes for some interesting content too. Like we have a partnership with Popeyes so we are always doing skits with them.

Cox: What led to the success of your influencer career?

Doyle: Just being genuine with my videos. I post things I think are cool and interesting. Usually it’s either me and my friends out and about making a skit. Or it’s me at the office with a new product that is funny and new, then we make a video showcasing it in a funny way.

Cox: What are your goals for the future?

Doyle: My goals are just to do things I think are fun and be true to myself. I honestly love my jobs right now and always wake up genuinely excited for the day. My goal in life is just to enjoy it while i’m here and maybe get a Tesla.

Cox: What is your favorite part of being an influencer?

Doyle: My favorite part is trolling in the comments. I love either my videos or other peoples videos thinking of funny responses to peoples comments. Or going on other creators videos and trying to think of the funniest comment that will get the most likes hopefully. The comment section is where I thrive on Tik-Tok, I absolutely love leaving witty comments. The best part of being an influencer is that it gives me more access to roast, joke and have fun in the comments with people.

Cox: What is your least part of being an influencer? 

Doyle: Haters. It is the worst when you put something on Tik Tok or anywhere and someone has to come and rain on the parade for no reason. People hating or spreading negativity for no reason is such a buzzkill. Honestly, the biggest bummer is you know those people are just sad people who have nothing better to do.
